Job description

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $3640
$500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS
Opportunity:
Interventional Radiology Tech - Interventional Radiology
Job Details:
• Monday through Friday shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a rotating day off each week
• Weekend rotation is call only, with 1 weekend every 4th weekend (Saturday 6:00 AM through Monday 6:00 AM)
• Full week of call every 4th week with one weekday off, covering either neuro or body cases
• Ancillary call shifts approximately 3 times per 8-week schedule to serve as a 3rd on-call team member for strokes or unstable trauma patients
• Call team consists of 1 tech and 1 RN, with a 3-person call team for stroke and trauma cases
• Response time of 30 minutes for strokes and 45 minutes for traumas required
• 1 holiday of call required per contract
• Handle 25 to 45 cases per day
• Work with adult and pediatric patients; approximately 10% of cases are pediatric
• Perform general IR and Neuro IR procedures including kyphoplasties/vertebroplasties, G/GJ tube placement/exchange, nephrostomy tubes/nephroureteral stents, IVC filters, temporary and tunneled dialysis catheters, Y90s/TIPs, chemo/coil embolizations, ports, and stroke cases
• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
• Neuro IR experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Work with unit-specific equipment including Inari, Penumbra, IVUS, EKOS, and Angiojet
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, IEMA
• 1 shift of orientation provided with call responsibilities beginning in the second week
• Scrubs provided
• Parking available on site
• No floating to other units

This facility is a large 749-bed acute care hospital designated as a Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center, holding Magnet Designation for nursing excellence. The Interventional Radiology department operates 4 IR rooms and is supported by a robust team including charge leads, management, transporters, phlebotomy, respiratory therapy available 24/7, hospitalists available 24/7, and a team of radiologists, radiology PAs, and NPs.
