What You'll Do:
  • Perform and assist with interventional radiology procedures and cardiac catheterizations
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal care
  • Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient data
  • Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and protocols
  • Assist in emergency situations, including storm-related relief efforts when assigned
  • Float between IR and Cardiac Cath Lab as needed to support team operations
What You Need:
  • Required:
    • Current Louisiana State License, ACLS, BLS, ARRT certification
    • At least 2 years of IR or Cardiology experience
    • Strong procedural and patient care skills
  • Preferred:
    • Experience working in high-volume hospital settings
    • Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling during emergency situations
About the Assignment:

This role is based in a prominent healthcare facility in Baton Rouge, LA, supporting the Interventional Radiology and Cardiology departments. The position involves performing procedures, patient support, and collaborating closely with the medical team. During hurricane season, staff may be assigned to emergency or relief teams and are expected to report as directed by the unit manager.
