Per diem sales reps often provide product demonstrations, training, and support during procedures, working flexible hours depending on client needs. To thrive as a Per Diem Interventional Radiology Sales representative, you need a solid understanding of medical devices, radiology procedures, and sales principles, often supported by a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Familiarity with CRM software, hospital procurement systems, and knowledge of interventional radiology products is typically required, along with certifications like Certified Sales Professional (CSP) being advantageous. Outstanding communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills are crucial for engaging healthcare professionals and closing sales. These competencies are vital for effectively promoting products, meeting sales targets, and supporting clinical teams in a highly technical and regulated environment.
