Job Summary and Qualifications

This position is responsible for expert knowledge of all vascular and interventional radiology procedures with emphasis on leadership qualities, by supporting the Interventional Radiology manager position. Employee is sought out by others for advice, training, and clarification of job related knowledge. Effectively communicates, coordinates, delegates, and assigns the daily activities of the vascular and interventional radiology department. Facilitates, organizes, and reviews the daily workflow to deliver maximal throughput of all vascular and interventional radiology procedures on customers ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood. Prioritizes, motivates, and promotes quality patient care to support the Mission, Vision, and Values of Swedish Medical Center. Ensures facility technical and documentation expectations are consistent with TJC regulations and Swedish Medical Center (SMC) standards. Positively demonstrates concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, and employees. Demonstrates independent critical thinking skills for daily activity and patient flow of the Interventional Radiology department and assumes accountability for personal and team contributions. 

What qualifications you will need:

• Current ARRT (R)(VI) or (CV) certification and CE compliant. 
• Current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider certification 
• Graduate of 24-month AMA approved school of Radiological Technology 
• Certified by the ARRT. 
• Three years diagnostic experience required. Vascular and Interventional Radiology experience preferred. 
• Employee must have solid to expert knowledge of all vascular and interventional radiology procedures. Have dependable leadership and teamwork skills, especially during stressful times in stressful environments. 

• Basic Cardiac Life Support
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• Vocational School Graduate
