Job description

POSITION:GV Support Consultant - SAP HR/Payroll

ROLE OBJECTIVE:

ToDemonstrate an understanding and commitment to the delivery of WorldClass Service in providing GlobalView application services and solutions to our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adhere to GlobalView configuration standards and conventions
  • Adhere to ADP procedures and policies
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level post-live issue resolution within Service Level Agreement timeframes - specifically investigation, solution identification, recommendation, configuration, unit testing and solution documentation
  • Prepare functional specifications and change control requests
  • Ensure that customer needs not effectively addressed within the current offering, are communicated to GlobalView Product Manager
  • Assess Support Pack configuration, as requirements directed. Subsequent configuration and testing activities arising out of support pack application
  • Identify, co-ordinate and test SAP Note application as an Advanced Correction, as required
  • Liase with Account Management
  • Conduct lifecycle of mini project solutions
  • Provide consulting services to client base, as required
  • Provide relevant knowledge sharing opportunities for associates within Technical Services and Operations
  • Ensure up to date knowledge of the ADP GlobalView SAP application and associated services is maintained
  • After hours support as agreed with Team Leader

EXPERIENCE:

  • No prior SAP experience is required; comprehensive training and development will be provided.
  • Internship experience in IT support, software development, ERP systems, application support, or related areas is an advantage.
  • Experience gained through university projects involving software development, database management, system integration is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly through academic projects, internships, or extracurricular activities.

CERTIFICATIONS/QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or other related disciplines is preferred.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Academic background in software development, enterprise systems, databases, or business applications is considered an advantage.
  • SAP-related coursework, training, or certification would be a plus, but is not required.

SKILLS:

  • Strong learning agility with the ability and willingness to quickly acquire new technologies, systems, and business processes.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and logical approach.
  • Basic understanding of software applications, databases, and IT systems.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with global teams and end users.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to develop expertise in SAP HCM/HR and Payroll support.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good English and Chinese mandarin language skill required
  • Japanese/Korean language skill is a plus
