Baer is looking for SAP HCM Time Management Specialist for a 6+ month remote project.
Title: SAP HCM Time Management Specialist
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 6 months - Part Time (2 Days Per Week)
Rate: All-Inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C
Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP HCM Time Management Specialist to support a public sector client operating SAP HCM On-Premise. The consultant will be responsible for configuring and supporting complex Time Management processes, ensuring compliance with union agreements, labor regulations, and public sector workforce requirements.
Description:
  • Configure and support SAP HCM Time Management solutions.
  • Design and maintain Time Schemas (standard and custom), Personnel Calculation Rules (PCRs), operations, and functions.
  • Support Time Evaluation processing (PT60) and troubleshoot evaluation results.
  • Configure work schedules, shift patterns, absence and attendance types, quota accruals, and time transfer specifications.
  • Implement and support complex public sector time rules including overtime, shift premiums, holiday pay, compensatory time, and leave accruals.
  • Analyze and debug time evaluation schemas using SAP tools and logs.
  • Ensure accurate integration between Time Management and SAP Payroll.

Requirements:
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP HCM Time Management in an on-premise environment.
  • Expertise in SAP Time Schema configuration (TM04 and custom schemas).
  • Deep knowledge of Time Evaluation (PT60), PCRs, operations, and functions.
  • Experience supporting complex workforce environments with union contracts, collective bargaining agreements, or government labor rules.
  • Knowledge of work schedules, shift planning, attendance/absence management, and quota generation.
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging time evaluation processes.
  • Understanding of Time Management integration with SAP Payroll, including related infotypes and wage type generation.
