Associate Partner, Business Consulting - SAP ISU SURE
Infosys Consulting is looking for seasoned SAP IS-U Functional Architect to lead and oversee functional teams across key modules including Billing, Device & Field Management, FICA, Reporting & Analytics, BPEM, and SAP Technical Integration. The ideal candidate will bring strategic vision and hands-on expertise to guide end-to-end SAP CIS implementations within the Utilities sector.
Practice Development:
  • Determine and implement strategy for the practice - where and how to compete and ensure operational discipline to enable practice growth
Business Development:
  • Leverage internal (e.g. IBU contacts, sales teams, alliance & product teams) and external (e.g. personal networks, professional networks, analysts) channels to identify clients where our services may provide significant business value and help create multi-million-dollar relationships
  • Create/identify multi-million-dollar opportunities within existing and new clients using visionary industry knowledge, intellectual capital, background in potential problem areas, knowledge of upcoming regulatory or market changes in order to create engagement opportunities
  • Scale business growth with traditional business advisory and transformation services, and incubate new services that harness AI, Data & Digital capabilities,
  • Estimate sales potential, identify key clients, identify collaboration opportunities with IBUs, actively lead pursuits and contribute to the business planning of the group.
  • Actively participate in defining the portfolio of projects within the Energy & Utility Practice
  • Experience developing account plans and strategies and maintaining account specific pipeline and engagement portfolio.
Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with senior and C-level client executives and expand professional network in client organizations.
  • Ability to speak on behalf of the client`s best interests, and countering views of the client executives where appropriate.
  • Anchor new and existing client accounts, and interfacing on engagement-level client concerns.
Proposal Development:
  • Lead teams to prepare large proposals and program plans, facilitate Infosys differentiators (like specific consulting frameworks, intellectual property etc.), articulate value proposition, review and fine tune the financials, and lead proposal presentations in order to create a compelling proposition for the client to engage Infosys Consulting
  • Analyze the probability of winning the deal & the criticality of the deal for Infosys, as well as appropriately prepare for negotiations on terms and conditions of the engagement with the client and obtain confirmation and approval from all internal stakeholders to ensure timely and smooth closure of the deal.
Engagement Management:
  • Lead engagement planning, budgeting, resource mobilization and deliverable definition. Participate directly in delivering engagements per scope and outcomes.
  • Lead project launch to ensure that the engagement starts smoothly.
  • Review engagement progress periodically with the team as well as with the client, appropriately intervene in critical situations, and guide the team to address critical issues to ensure that the client realizes the business value articulated at the time of the deal closure.
  • Actively participate in project governance including Steering Committee and Strategic Business Review sessions
  • Build high morale and highly effective teams and position programs for success.
Thought Leadership:
  • Develop practice service offerings, solutions, and methodologies. Ensure appropriate tie-in with broader Infosys brand and competency groups.
  • Develop point of views (POVs) and speak at events such as Industry conferences, establishing self as an industry thought leader
  • Author multiple articles that advance the quality of supply chain services
  • Mentor others to actively publish in supply chain periodicals.
Recruitment & People Management:
  • Demonstrate the ability to attract, retain and develop top consulting talent and the next generation of Infosys Consulting leaders.
  • Identify upcoming skill needs and potential sourcing pools, interview candidates, influence a favorable perception of Infosys as an employer, and decide on offer details to ensure that the practice has the appropriate skills required.
  • Perform the role of counselor and coach, provide feedback and guidance, actively participate in performance reviews, provide leadership and act as role model for team members.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the overall functional architect for SAP IS-U implementations.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to functional leads across multiple SAP IS-U modules.
  • Ensure alignment of functional design with business objectives and technical architecture.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define solution roadmaps and integration strategies.
  • Drive quality assurance and best practices across project phases.
Basic Qualifications:
  • M.B.A or master's in operations, Engineering, or equivalent advanced degree
  • Big 4 or equivalent experience in a leadership capacity
  • Minimum 2 full lifecycle SAP CIS implementations in the Utilities industry.
  • Expertise and understanding in SAP IS-U areas (at least expert in 2 modules): Billing, Device & Field Management, FICA, Reporting & Analytics, BPEM.
  • Strong understanding of SAP technical architecture and integration points.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to effectively resolve conflict and exercise mature judgement
  • Ability to work independently to drive towards performance targets including sales and utilization targets
  • Strong oral and written communications skills, including presentation skills (development of the presentation and executive level presentation)
  • Ability to travel extensively.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in traditional and emerging SAP solutions and packages including S/4HANA
  • Track record of thought leadership in Energy or Utility space, as expressed through publications, speaking engagements, conference presentations, etc.
  • Strong network in Energy or Utility that can be leveraged to recruit additional talent.
  • Excellent client relationships at executive level, which can be leveraged to develop new business.
  • Demonstrable experience expanding services and revenue within a large strategic client.
Compensation ranges from $280,000 - $406,667
