Job description

Want to help everyday Americans invest and build wealth? Financial inequality is increasing, and too many people are getting left behind. At Stash, we're passionate about democratizing wealth creation through education, advice, and products that help customers achieve greater financial freedom. We also believe in working smarter-leveraging AI and emerging technologies to move faster, operate more efficiently, and focus our time on solving meaningful problems for our customers.

The Lifecycle team is responsible for helping customers take the right next step-from sign-up to becoming active, long-term investors. As a Lifecycle Marketing Associate, you'll focus primarily on onboarding and activation-building, launching, and optimizing the campaigns that guide new users through early setup and help them complete their first key actions.

You'll also help with light campaign operations-documentation, QA, and launch prep-and support the broader lifecycle team when needed. Onboarding and activation is your core; everything else helps keep the team moving.

What you'll do:ย

Onboarding & activation (primary)

  • Build, configure, and launch onboarding and activation campaigns and Canvases in Braze across email, push, in-app, and SMS
  • Support programs across the early customer journey-from account setup through initial funding and first meaningful product usage
  • Write and edit customer-facing copy for onboarding touchpoints; partner with Creative on briefs, reviews, and asset requests
  • Execute A/B tests by setting up variants, monitoring performance, and documenting results
  • Run pre-launch QA on messaging, links, segments, personalization logic, and send timing before campaigns go live
  • Pull activation performance reports; flag drop-offs at key early milestones and surface opportunities to the team
  • Support rescue flows for users who stall before completing early setup or activation steps

Campaign operations (secondary)

  • Help keep campaign documentation and journey maps up to date so the team knows what's live
  • Support launch prep-checking tasks, updating JIRA, and making sure nothing gets missed before send
  • Lend a hand on creative intake and review cycles when onboarding programs need assets
  • Run through QA checklists and flag issues before campaigns go out

What we're looking for:ย

  • 1-3 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, email marketing, growth marketing, or a related role-or equivalent internship and project experience
  • Hands-on experience building and launching campaigns in a marketing automation platform (Braze, Iterable, Customer.io, or similar)
  • Strong communication skills-you write clearly for internal partners (briefs, updates, documentation) and external audiences (customer-facing email, push, and in-app copy)
  • Comfort working with data-pulling basic performance reports, spotting drop-offs, and asking the right questions
  • Strong attention to detail; you catch broken links, segment errors, and copy issues before they reach customers
  • Organized and reliable-you stay on top of your work and don't let small things slip
  • Collaborative mindset; you work well with managers, designers, product managers, and data partners
  • Eagerness to learn-you're excited to grow into lifecycle strategy

Gold Stars

  • Experience in fintech, investing, or subscription-based products
  • Familiarity with Braze Canvases, Connected Content, or Liquid personalization
  • Experience with Mixpanel or similar analytics tools
  • Exposure to A/B testing, even in a supporting role
  • Comfort using AI tools to move faster on research, copy drafts, and reporting
  • Interest in growing toward lifecycle strategy-not just execution
