As a Recruiter, you will be involved in the end-to-end hiring processes at Vulcan Elements. With support from People Operations, you will be responsible for focusing on long-term and immediate workforce planning needs of the business. You will build relationships with the hiring managers to understand the specific needs of each new hire. You will work with the team to continually scale recruiting processes to allow for growth in a high pace environment.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to hiring strategy, providing insight and guidance to the team on scaling talent recruitment efforts to reduce time to fill for critical roles
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions that reflect the requirements of upcoming positions
  • Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and coordinate interviews with hiring team to assess candidates' qualifications and fit for the role
  • Source candidates through internal databases, networking, and external recruiting platforms
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through thoughtful candidate communication, and scheduling.
  • Analyze candidate survey data to continue to improve talent acquisition strategy
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to improve hiring strategies and processes, and align with the needs of the business

Qualifications

  • 4+ years' experience as a full-cycle recruiter (preferably in a fast-paced high growth advanced manufacturing environment)
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations for the industry

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking software
  • Familiarity with recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn or Indeed
