Our teams work on multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging advanced data analytics and problem-solving techniques. Our recommendations and solutions are based on rigorous research and analysis underpinned by deep expertise and thought leadership.
Strategy Insights & Planning Consultant Intern
Strategy Insights & Planning Consultants deliver high-quality solutions for our clients. Consultants possess unstructured problem-solving skills as well as strong analytic, synthesis and communication skills. Consultants may work on multiple projects simultaneously. As Consultants advance in their career, they specialize in a particular industry, practice area and/or client relationship.
What You'll Do
  • Lead workstreams and project teams.
  • Partner with senior client stakeholders to identify business challenges and define opportunities.
  • Develop AI and digital transformation strategies, operating models, governance frameworks, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Lead qualitative and quantitative research efforts to assess market trends, customer needs, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes.
  • Structure ambiguous business problems and develop actionable recommendations using hypothesis-driven problem solving.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear business implications for executive audiences.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and technology teams to shape AI solutions that align with client business objectives.
  • Drive client workshops, executive presentations, and strategic discussions with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of ZS's AI strategy capabilities, thought leadership, and intellectual property.

What You'll Bring
  • Candidates should be in their first year of an MBA program and possess a bachelor's (and often graduate) degree in business, economics, marketing, psychology, physical or life sciences, engineering, applied math, statistics, or related fields.
  • 3-5 years of pre-MBA work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading client-facing projects and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong understanding of AI, generative AI, machine learning, and emerging digital technologies and their business applications.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and structured thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and executive presentation capabilities.
