Python Developer Intern

United States
Internship | Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Pay Range: $25 – $42 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Python Developer Intern to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for students or entry level candidates in Computer Science or related STEM fields who are passionate about backend development, automation, data processing, and scalable application development.

The intern will work closely with senior developers to build APIs, develop backend services, automate workflows, and contribute to cloud-based applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend applications using Python

  • Build and consume RESTful APIs

  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

  • Assist in database design and optimization

  • Debug, troubleshoot, and fix software defects

  • Support automation scripts and data processing pipelines

  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and code reviews

  • Assist in deploying applications in cloud environments

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related STEM field

  • Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms
