ResponsibilitiesPosition SummarySupports PSA's Engineering and Technical Services teams by performing data analysis, reviewing technical documentation, and assisting with the evaluation of aircraft repairs and maintenance actions. Contributes directly to the accuracy of engineering data, regulatory compliance, and the overall safety and reliability of PSA's fleet. The Engineering Intern will gain handson experience with technical systems, maintenance programs, and engineering processes while helping develop reports, audits, and recommendations that strengthen operational performance. Job Responsibilities
  • Supports the Engineering/Technical Services departments with data management to include but is not limited to data analysis, reviews, audits, and data entry.
  • Audits and reviews MXI data, faults, corrective actions, and engineering repairs as assigned by the Manager of Engineering.
  • Learns functionality and utilization of Company applications, and platforms.
  • Ensures compliance with all policies, practices, procedures, processes, and methods required by the PSA Airlines GMM and other technical data, directives, and instructions.
  • Creates and provide various technical reports and data packages as requested.
  • Provides recommendations for improvements to policies practices, procedures, processes, and methods utilized by the Maintenance and Engineering Department.
  • Assists and support the Vice President of Technical Services and other senior management in projecting a strong commitment to the uncompromising promotion of safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Position SpecificsQualificationsRequired
  • Engineering Degree or enrolled in a college/university with an anticipated degree in Engineering.
  • Ability in the use of Technical Data, Manuals, Reliability Statistics.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets.
  • Approachable and able to build productive working relationships.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated passion for continuous improvement.
  • Previous analytical and problem-solving experience.
  • Effective communication skills, including listening, oral, and written communication.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Adaptable and able to work in a fastpaced, rapidly evolving environment.
  • Ability to speak/read/write in English.
  • If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
