Head Instructor - Premier Martial Arts

Job Summary

A head instructor with Premier Martial Arts (PMA) is a person who has a passion for changing lives through day-to-day martial arts instruction. An outgoing and leadership-driven personality is a must. A person who can not only teach but more importantly inspire others to be their best version of themselves is required. A PMA instructor utilizes the tools given to them to impact as many people as possible and is always a student themselves. A learning attitude is key for the success of this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead Instruction of High Energy, Benefit Driven, and โ€œedutainingโ€ classes
  • Complete student tracking, rankings, and reporting to determine graduation windows and overall progress
  • Talent Management - Select, train, develop, and motivate additional class instructors. Lead through on-going communication, timely feedback, positive reinforcement, written evaluations and performance feedback. Address performance concerns.
  • Lead the creation of curriculum that follows PMA guidelines for instruction
  • Organize and execute student graduation classes
  • Work with the Area/Studio Manager to complete class planning and management
  • Partner with the Program director to help drive marketing programs to increase student memberships
  • Assist with the execution of initiatives and activities including marketing campaigns and community/event sponsorships.
  • Participate in special events as scheduled
