Customer Service Representative (Healthcare Call Center)

Location: Plymouth, MI

Pay: $21.00/hour

Employment Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

Position Overview

We are seeking Customer Service Representatives to join a growing healthcare call center team. In this role, you will handle inbound customer calls, answer questions regarding prior authorizations and healthcare benefits, and provide exceptional customer service while accurately documenting information across multiple systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle high-volume inbound customer service calls in a call center environment.
  • Answer questions regarding prior authorizations, healthcare services, and general account inquiries.
  • Accurately enter and update customer information in multiple systems.
  • Conduct follow-up calls when necessary.
  • Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive customer information.
  • Navigate multiple software applications simultaneously during customer interactions.

Successful completion of training is required. Participants will complete assessments throughout training and are expected to maintain strong performance and engagement.

Work Schedule

Candidates must be available to work within the following operating hours:

  • 7 days per week
  • Between 5:00 AM and 10:00 PM

Employees will receive a set schedule within these hours.

Shift assignments are determined through a shift bid process based on training performance and assessment scores.

Mandatory overtime is required during January and February.
