Who we are
Our Implementation Specialist brings a builder mindset to client configurations of our payroll tax product, proactively translating requirements into scalable, accurate solutions. This role drives successful adoption of our solutions by leading training, defining client requirements with clarity, executing configurations, validating outcomes through testing, and taking ownership of implementation results from kickoff through stabilization.
This is an on-site position and can be based from Nashville, TN or Virginia Beach, VA.
How you will contribute:
Our Implementation Specialist brings a builder mindset to client configurations of our payroll tax product, proactively translating requirements into scalable, accurate solutions. This role drives successful adoption of our solutions by leading training, defining client requirements with clarity, executing configurations, validating outcomes through testing, and taking ownership of implementation results from kickoff through stabilization.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Leads end-to-end client implementations, applying deep product expertise to build accurate configurations and deliver successful outcomes.
  • Delivers group presentations and training sessions that enable clients to confidently use and maintain Asure Software.
  • Owns all stages of software implementation projects with clear accountability for scope, quality, and timelines:
    • Discovery: identify client business requirements
    • Configure: our Asure tax solution based on the client requirements
    • Deliver: training on the Asure tax configured solution
    • Deploy: successfully complete implementations
    • Support: clients for the first 2 successful payrolls
  • Deliver results on time.
  • Ensure client product and Asure procedure adoption for success with our products.
  • Provides status reports and overall project updates to the project team.
  • Anticipates and resolves project hurdles through effective coordination with clients and internal teams to keep implementations on track.
  • Creates client advocacy for our products- leaving every customer happy and willing to provide a reference for future customers.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • 3+ years of supporting clients with their US payroll and/or tax processing.
  • 2+ years of success in a dedicated account ownership service model.
  • Solid understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and payroll principles.
  • Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • CPP, FPC, PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
