Job description

The Human Resource Administrator supports the day-to-day execution of Human Resources operations at Electronic Imaging Materials, Inc. (EIM). This role is responsible for key HR functions including payroll administration, recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, HRIS management, and basic employee support. The Human Resource Administrator serves as a resource for employees by responding to questions related to payroll, benefits, policies, and HR processes while helping ensure a positive employee experience. This role also supports employee engagement initiatives, career fairs and community outreach efforts, and HR reporting, while partnering with the HR Manager on department goals and projects.
As part of a collaborative small-business environment, this role may also cross-train in other business functions to support operational continuity and departmental coverage when needed.
Essential Functions
  • Process weekly payroll, audit timecards for accuracy, and prepare payroll data for submission
  • Administer employee benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations while serving as a point of contact for employee benefit questions.
  • Serve as the primary administrator for BambooHR and other HR technology platforms, including report generation, data audits, system updates, and user support.
  • Manage the company's employee recognition platform, including promoting, reporting, administration, communication, and employee support.
  • Provide employees with guidance on company policies, procedures, benefits, and HR processes, escalating complex or sensitive matters to the HR Manager as appropriate.
  • Coordinate, schedule, track, and maintain records for required company training programs, including annual harassment prevention training and other compliance-related training initiatives
  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including posting positions, sourcing candidates, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, extending offers, and maintaining candidate communications.
  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, company events, and workplace celebrations.
  • Represent EIM at career fairs, hiring events, school outreach programs, and workforce development initiatives.
  • Support HR compliance efforts by maintaining required records, tracking compliance-related activities, and assisting with audits and reporting requirements.
  • Support the HR Manager with special projects, strategic initiatives, and department objectives.
  • Support a collaborative team environment by cross-training in other business functions and assisting with departmental coverage as needed.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills/ Abilities
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms and payroll systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and commitment to quality.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate company policies, benefits information, and HR procedures in a clear and professional manner.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently prioritize and resolve routine issues.
  • Working knowledge of state and federal employment laws and HR compliance requirements.

Required Education and Experience
Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and or experience.
Electronic Imaging Materials also considers equivalent combinations of education/certifications and experience.
