Southridge Behavioral Hospital is a beautiful and new state-of-the-art facility. As a joint venture with the Trinity Health System and Universal Health Services, we serve up to 96 adult and geriatric patients across four units.

Description
The Director of Intake provides lead ership of the assessment and referral activities and staff at Southridge Behavioral Hospital . As a clinician this role participates in the provision of psychiatric assessment services, including clinical evaluations, crisis intervention, and referrals . This position interfaces closely with the medical staff, fellow department heads and administration, treatment team/external case managers/managed care organizations, functions as a liaison with other hospital intake departments.

Qualifications
Job Requirements
Education and Licensure : RN, LMSW, LPC or applicable license. Education appropriate for pertinent license from an accredited college or university in nursing, social work, psychology, mental health, or related field required.
Experience: A minimum of five (5) years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting required. Working knowledge and experience in clinical interviewing, patient assessment, family motivation, treatment planning, communicating with external review organizations or comparable entities, and working effectively with people of diverse backgrounds. Must have strong management skills with ability to effectively communicate with staff, ensuring proper employee performance management.
