Health Information Management (HIM) Manager – Full-Time | Woodsville, NH

We are seeking an experienced Health Information Management (HIM) Manager to oversee HIM operations, staff, and medical records management while ensuring compliance with HIPAA, CAH standards, and federal/state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily HIM department operations and supervise staff
  • Ensure accuracy, security, and compliance of patient health records
  • Manage release of information, record retention, and chart completion
  • Collaborate with clinical, IT, and finance teams to support accurate coding, billing, and reimbursement
  • Develop policies, improve workflows, and maintain data integrity

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • Hospital HIM experience with supervisory/management experience
  • RHIA or RHIT certification preferred
  • Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, healthcare information systems, and regulatory compliance
