Our client is seeking a Healthcare Accounting Manager to lead financial reporting and accounting operations within a multi-site healthcare environment. This is a full-time, in-office position responsible for overseeing financial processes, analyzing performance, and supporting operational decision-making.
In this role, the Healthcare Accounting Manager will partner closely with leadership and operational teams to ensure financial accuracy, monitor key performance indicators, and contribute to ongoing process improvements across the organization.
What You'll Do:
• Oversee the preparation and delivery of financial reports across multiple operational areas
• Lead month-end close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and accrual calculations
• Evaluate financial performance and communicate budget-to-actual variances
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
• Analyze purchasing data, vendor agreements, and rebate structures for accuracy and compliance
• Resolve discrepancies related to vendor invoicing and purchasing activity
• Assess contract profitability and evaluate key cost drivers such as volume and utilization trends
• Support financial modeling efforts tied to proposals, pricing, and contract evaluations
• Coordinate with operational leadership to align financial outcomes with staffing and workflow considerations
• Recommend and implement improvements related to reporting processes and system efficiencies
