Summary:

This position will support various Operational accounting positions in the Poultry segments to gain experience in Poultry Plants Accounting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily support for both the Shelbyville, TN Accounting teams.

  • Processing ofPurchase to Pay P2P transactionsand orpayment processing.

  • Assistwith monthly close process.

  • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations.

  • Perform tasks related to one or more of the following areas: management and retention of documents.

  • Assist with Ad hoc managementreportsprojects as they arise.

  • The position will have the potential to interact with Tyson Team Members across the organization and

  • This position will support Payroll, Time and Attendance, and Yield.

  • This position will beback-upto the plant accountant.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Educationand Experience:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financeor Businessdegree with 2 years of Accounting Experience.

  • Computer Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP is a plus.

  • Communication Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsrequired.

  • Special Skills:Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team.Strong judgment and problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and collaborate with others effectively.

  • Supervisory:None

  • Travel:1 plus trips per year.
