Staff Accountant- Medical Practices (Cardiology)

US Health Partners

Location: Austin, TX- Hybrid (remote and in office)


Position Summary= recurring close support + operational accounting + reconciliations + AP/cash support


The Staff Accountant will support the Accounting team across month-end close, reconciliations, operational accounting, AP support, and financial reporting activities within a fast-paced multi-entity healthcare organization. This role requires strong attention to detail, accountability, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative team environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules
  • Assist with monthly close processes and journal entries
  • Support AP and operational accounting workflows
  • Monitor and research outstanding accounting items
  • Assist with cash reconciliations and treasury support
  • Support fixed asset and prepaid accounting
  • Maintain organized accounting documentation and support files
  • Assist with audit support requests and internal reporting
  • Support process improvements and workflow standardization initiatives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and accounting team members


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
  • 2–5 years of accounting experience
  • Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite preferred
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, lean, high-accountability environment
