Job description

At Aflac we will offer training to unlicensed individuals, enabling them to obtain an insurance license and enter one of the rapidly expanding industries. This role plays a pivotal part in realizing the sales objectives of the agency or specialized department. These objectives, as communicated by the agent, encompass both short-term and long-term growth targets. Key responsibilities include generating new business, identifying opportunities for cross-selling, delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring client retention, and attaining profit goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Actively pursues and secures new business opportunities for the specialized department.
  2. Collaborates closely with the agent or operations manager to determine optimal coverage solutions for clients.
  3. Maintains awareness of new products and initiatives, actively pursuing personal and professional development.
  4. Cultivates and nurtures strong agency relationships with existing clients.
  5. Achieves production requirements and goals established by the agent or agency manager.
  6. Maintains comprehensive monthly sales records, sharing them with the agent or operations manager for evaluation.

Skills and Qualities:

  • Demonstrates effective communication skills.
  • Exhibits strong customer service abilities.
  • Possesses proficiency in computer skills.
  • While preferred, sales experience is not mandatory.
