Role Summary
The Product Director is responsible for the overall success of assigned insurance products. This role drives production, manages carrier relationships, ensures deep product knowledge across the organization, and maintains full visibility into the health and performance of the product. The Product Director regularly presents plans, adjustments, and pivots needed to meet retention, growth, and profitability goals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own production, growth, and retention for assigned products
  • Manage and strengthen carrier relationships
  • Serve as the internal product expert for underwriting, pricing, and positioning
  • Track and maximize carrier bonuses and incentive programs
  • Maintain a clear, up-to-date understanding of product status at all times
  • Identify gaps and present plans or pivots needed for product success
  • Lead and coordinate product training for sales and service teams
  • Partner with leadership to align product strategy with company goals
  • Provide clear and consistent reporting on product performance and trends
  • Identify new carrier needs
