Guest Relations Representative

Part-Time / Evening, Weekends, and Holiday availability required

Venue locations:

  • United Center

General Responsibilities:

The United Center are looking for Part-Time employees in our Guest Relations department for all United Center Events. Guest Relations team members are ambassadors to both the guests and fellow team members. Our Guest Relations philosophy is to ensure our guests have a winning experience at the United Center. It is the responsibility of the Guest Relations team to commit to going the extra mile for every person entering the United Center.

Demonstrated Skills:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be a positive and outgoing individual who is able to work well both individually as well as part of a team
  • Ideal candidate exhibits strong problem-solving skills and professional judgement
  • Must be able to fully perform the essential functions of the job

Specific Duties:

  • Promote a family atmosphere, guest enjoyment and safety to ensure game day satisfaction
  • Provide immediate service and comprehensive issue resolution to every guest
  • Operate as a steward of Guest Relations policies and to uphold United Center regulations, ethics, and directives
  • Assist guests with disabilities ensuring all needs are met
  • Communicate to the command center or management regarding any issues
  • Partner with various departments including concessions, parking, security, retail, and housekeeping to make certain that all issues are addressed and resolved in a timely matter
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma
  • Ability to work evening, weekend, and holidays
  • Excellent speaking voice
  • Must have previous customer service experience
  • Available for at least 85% of the events at United Center. 

Additional Information: 

  • Starting Pay Rate = $19.50 per hour
  • The position requires ability to stand for 3 quarters (¾) of shift. The use of hands, stooping, kneeling, or reaching with hands may be required during shift. There may be lifting up to 10 pounds. Vision requirements: color and the ability to focus. Team members are expected to fully perform the essential functions of the job.
  • The individual is required to walk up and down several stairs throughout the duration of the event. The individual may be required to work near moving mechanical parts, work in high, precarious places or work in outdoor weather conditions.
