Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome MS clients and their guests with genuine warmth, ensuring each encounter is adorned with a heartfelt smile and sustained eye contact, fostering an immediate sense of belonging
  • Provide a prompt and courteous welcome to all guests upon their arrival
  • Acting as way-finders and hospitality services resource for all guests
  • Reviewing and committing to memory the profiles of VIP guests expected for the day
  • Recognizing and welcoming VIP guests using service excellence standards
  • Assist with lobby flow including employee and visitor cues to elevators
  • Building and maintaining a relationship with employees and repeat guests, enhancing their over-all experience; use surnames when obtained
  • Providing smooth and efficient check in experience for groups, guests and visiting MS employees
  • Review visitors and group lists daily, to adjust as required to ensure accuracy and prepare for arrivals
  • Be actively engaged with guests, MS employees & MS clients; identifying and anticipating their needs, aiming to exceed expectations at every opportunity
  • Escort guests to their destination as required
  • Handle all in person, phone and email communications with professionalism, ensuring that information is gathered accurately
  • Anticipate and address inquiries with grace and efficiency, responding to a myriad of requests with unwavering attention to detail, exceeding expectations
  • Ensure that First Class Guest/Client service levels are maintained during peak & off-peak periods of the day
  • Be familiar with local attractions and points of interest in and around New York City, maintaining phone numbers and contacts as required
  • Safeguard the well-being of our members and staff by diligently adhering to security, fire, health, and safety protocols, fostering an environment of trust and security.
  • Must be flexible in working at multiple site locations to support business operations
  • Operate the Evening Meal Program Operation from 6pm - pm
  • Retrieve food deliveries from personnel
  • Organize food deliveries by alphabetical order to ensure ease in employees retrieving their food delivery
  • Responsible for all general Lobby & Evening Meal Program duties as required

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Must have the ability to stand for at least 5 hours or more as required and willing to stand outside in varying outdoor weather conditions.
  • Associates must portray an extremely positive and professional image; creating a five-star impression on a daily basis is a must
  • Previous Corporate/Hotel Hospitality experience in rooms division and/or guest services
  • Strong organizational and technical skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent listening and oral communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of office technology / equipment.
  • Punctual, dependable and dedicated to achieving operational excellence
  • Discreet, ethical and committed to maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
  • 3-5 years experience in a client service / front of the house position within a hospitality or corporate environment.
  • Flexibility adapting to additional responsibilities - multi-tasking with MS Conference Center operations
