Job description

Culton Companies, Inc. (D/B/A: ExpoDisplays, Method-1, and Warner Museums) is excited to announce the opening of a Multimedia Graphics Design position. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in graphic design and a flair for storytelling through both static and motion visuals and interactives.ย  You'll be responsible for developing and preparing for print high-impact designs and layout compositions with both copy and imagery, across mid and large-scale print, digital media, motion graphics, and video content that elevate our brand and communicate our message with clarity and creativity.

Our fast-paced work environment requires a champion who consistently demonstrates strong creative vision, has a clear and persuasive visual communication style, and continually evolves while building on core strengths. This role will be a part of the creative team and may interact with sales and clients for input and presentations as needed.

This Birmingham-based position will hold the following responsibilities:

  • Graphic Design: Create visually compelling designs that bring brand stories and narratives to life across print and digital platforms.

  • Print & Digital Design: Design and prepare print-ready files for mid/ large-format graphics, informational panels, and high-quality imagery for physical displays.

  • Motion Graphics & Interactive Content: Animate and edit video and graphics for digital signage, presentations, and interactive displays, aligning with brand aesthetics and campaign goals.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to understand project goals and translate them into effective design solutions.

  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job requirements include the following:

  • A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Multimedia, or a related field.

  • A strong portfolio showcasing creative excellence in both graphic design, with emphasis on motion graphics/video.

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suiteโ€”particularly:

    • Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign (for print and digital graphics)

    • After Effects, Premiere Pro (for motion graphics and video editing)

  • Experience designing for mid/ large format print, informational graphics, and interactive content.

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a team-oriented mindset.

This position is based in our Birmingham, AL, corporate headquarters facility. It is a full-time 40-hour per week, M-F 8:00-5:00 salaried position.
