About the Role

We are bringing graphic design and production in house at Alliance and are hiring our first Graphics Design Lead to build and lead this function from the ground up in our Orlando Celebration Headquarters.

This is a hybrid senior designer plus leadership role. You will be the primary creative and operational owner of graphics for our hotel based trade shows and events. As the founding member of the graphics team, youโ€™ll handle high level design, manage workflow traffic, delegate work, mentor talent, and help establish scalable processes that support our national operations.

Youโ€™ll combine strong hands on design skills with the ability to optimize design proofing workflows, and collaborate across our production hubs to deliver consistent, high-impact visuals for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:Design and Creative Leadership
  • Lead creative development of largeformat graphics, booth signage, banners, backdrops, and custom exhibit visuals.
  • Produce and artdirect highquality designs that align with client branding and
  • Alliance standards.

  • Manage the full designtoproduction lifecycle: concept โ†’ proofing โ†’ revisions โ†’ final output.
  • Oversee quality control and ensure all graphics are visually exceptional.
  • Traffic, Workflow and Team Leadership

  • Own daily traffic management: intake, prioritization, scheduling, and on time delivery of all graphic requests.
  • Delegate work effectively to freelancers, vendors, and future team members.
  • Mentor and develop junior designers as the team grows.
  • Support recruiting efforts and help build a high performing graphics team.
  • Systems and Continuous Improvement
  • Implement efficient processes for request intake, proofing, and asset management.
  • Drive improvements in turnaround time, cost efficiency, and quality.
  • Contribute to building a unified national graphics standard for Alliance.
  • Technical Environment
  • Software: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Required Qualifications and Skills
  • 8 plus years of senior level graphic design experience, with strong emphasis on tradeshow, exhibit, event, or largeformat work.
  • Proven ability to manage design traffic, multiple deadlines, and cross and functional coordination.
  • Experience leading or mentoring other designers (formal or informal).
  • Handson large and format production knowledge.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating trade show / exhibit design work.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as the first or early graphics hire in a growing department.
  • Tradeshowspecific project management background.
  • Comfort transitioning graphics from outsourced to inhouse.
