Are you a graphic design student looking for real-world experience? If so, Lamar's Graphics division has a perfect opportunity for you! Our Graphics office in Pensacola, Florida is now hiring a Graphics Artist Intern to assist in the creation of outdoor designs for outdoor and digital products.

What you can expect from us:

  • A part-time work schedule within Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, about 20 hours per week
  • An hourly rate of $15 / hour
  • PTO - 1 hour/30 hours worked

What we are looking for in YOU!

  • Aptitude for graphic design
  • Computer literacy
  • Proficient in Lamar Graphics' currently used graphic software (Adobe Suite)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong vision, including the ability to design visually, with the proficiency to distinguish color patterns and identify good use of color

Education and experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year in college (currently enrolled) for graphic design or the equivalent professional experience preferred

A day in the life:

  • Design outdoor creative for one or more product lines:
    • Outdoor,
    • Digital displays, or
    • Transit
  • Responsible for the completion of jobs on the daily schedule
