The Graphic Design Assistant will assist the Arts UNF Communications department with graphic design for all Arts UNF needs, including the Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville. The position will assist the department with the creation and management of content and creative assets, including but not limited to the UNF and MOCA websites, social media platforms, print materials, and advertising.

The responsibilities of this position include

  • Assist in the overall management, content creation, and strategy of Arts UNF and MOCA Jacksonville through print and digital content that maintains a consistent visual identity.

  • Oversee development of industry-leading graphic design content for Arts UNF and MOCA Jacksonville.

  • Plan, organize, and deliver assigned graphic design projects to ensure completion of all projects promptly.

  • Proactively support Arts UNF and MOCA Jacksonville staff on initiatives.

  • Enforce Arts UNF and MOCA Jacksonville branding across graphic design content and refine elements to conform to quality standards.

  • Adhere to file management workflow for efficient archiving and retrieval of projects and management of assets.

  • In conjunction with the Director of Communications, Arts UNF and the Marketing Coordinator, the position will meet with other departments to complete project needs, requirements and timelines.

  • The position has a flexible schedule and may be expected to work in-person office hours, in addition to some nights and weekends.

  • The position will take on other duties as assigned by the Director of Communications.
