Overview:
The Florida Everblades, a premier ECHL hockey team, and Hertz Arena, a leading entertainment venue in Estero, Florida, are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Motion Graphics Intern to join our Marketing and Creative Services team. This in-person internship provides hands-on experience in creating dynamic motion graphics and video content for a professional sports team and a multi-purpose entertainment venue. Ideal for students or recent graduates passionate about motion design, sports, and live events.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and produce motion graphics for in-arena video boards, including game-day animations, player introductions, and promotional content.
  • Create engaging video content for social media platforms, website promotions, and digital campaigns for Florida Everblades games and Hertz Arena events.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop visually consistent content that aligns with brand guidelines.
  • Edit video footage and integrate motion graphics for game recaps, highlight reels, and event teasers.
  • Assist in live event production, including preparing and queuing motion graphics for Everblades games and Hertz Arena concerts or shows.
  • Contribute creative ideas for motion graphics during brainstorming sessions for campaigns and events.
  • Support the maintenance of digital asset libraries for video and motion graphics files.

Qualifications:
  • Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a degree program in Motion Graphics, Animation, Video Production, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and other relevant software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Photoshop, or Illustrator a plus).
  • Strong understanding of animation principles, storytelling, and visual composition.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Passion for sports, entertainment, or live event production is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a live event setting with occasional high-pressure situations.
