Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support daily deposit and operational accounting functions while providing prompt, professional service to customers. This role assists customers with account questions related to deposits, transactions, statements, service charges, debit cards, and other routine inquiries, while also researching accounts and transactions to resolve discrepancies and support internal staff. Responsibilities include balancing and reconciling house and general ledger accounts, reviewing transactions for accuracy and proper handling, processing daily postings, adjustments, and account maintenance, and maintaining accurate records and documentation. The Bookkeeper will review daily reports, identify exceptions, assist with overdrafts and returned items, support audits and examinations, and work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Must have 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
  • Must have experience with bank operations, deposit operations, and customer service experience
  • Must have working knowledge of balancing, reconciliations, account research, and general ledger functions
  • Must have a High School Diploma

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM-6:00 PM
