Job description

Internal Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented Internal Bookkeeper to support the financial organization and day-to-day recordkeeping of a fast-paced business. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, comfortable working with project-based accounting details, and able to help maintain accurate financial records across multiple categories.

The right candidate will help ensure expenses, income, labor, and purchasing activity are properly tracked and supported. This position also involves coordinating with outside accounting professionals and helping enforce internal processes around time and expense management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Categorize income and expenses and attach supporting documentation.

  • Allocate costs and labor hours accurately to the proper projects.

  • Review and approve purchase requests.

  • Help enforce policies related to time tracking and expense submission.

  • Communicate with outside accountants and provide information as needed.

  • Maintain accurate records and support internal financial organization.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.

  • Familiarity with Google Workspace and other productivity tools such as Canva or comparable software.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.

  • Comfortable working in a structured, in-person office environment.

Logistics
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

  • Able to begin within approximately one month of completing the interview process.

This is a fully in-person role with weekday hours from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
