Business Development Manager - International Air/Ocean - Hunter mentality
Salary - $90k to $130k base - commensurate of experience
Location - Silicon Valley/SFO

Role
The BDM will be responsible for bringing on and maintaining a book of business as well as growing regional import/export sales in Air/Ocean Internationally.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive growth in the freight forwarding sector.
Identify and target potential clients, building lasting relationships to foster business opportunities.
Conduct market research to identify trends and potential areas for expansion within the logistics industry.
Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure alignment in hiring strategies that support business development efforts.
Monitor and analyze competitors' activities, adjusting strategies as necessary to maintain a competitive advantage.
Prepare proposals and presentations for clients, showcasing FreightTAS's capabilities in freight forwarding and logistics solutions.
Track and report on business development metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role in the logistics and supply chain industry.
Strong understanding of freight forwarding processes and logistics operations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Ability to analyze market trends and prepare strategies accordingly.
Demonstrated ability to achieve targets and drive sales growth.
Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and presentations.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
