Job description

Job Summary: We are seeking an entry-level Logistics & Freight Forwarding Supervisor to oversee daily shipping operations and support a team of coordinators. This role ensures shipments move efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with regulations while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily freight operations (air, ocean, domestic & international)
  • Monitor shipments from booking through delivery
  • Review shipping documents for accuracy (B/L, AWB, invoices, ISF, AES)
  • Support and guide logistics coordinators; assign daily tasks
  • Coordinate with carriers, truckers, warehouses, and customs brokers
  • Resolve shipment delays and customer issues
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs and trade regulations

Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics
  • Basic knowledge of air and ocean freight operations
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency in logistics systems and Microsoft Excel

Preferred:
  • Prior lead or team-support experience
  • Bilingual (Spanish a plus)
