Summary

The Data Team Specialist role will possess key skills and experience which includes entry-level knowledge of international import transportation, import brokerage procedures, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (โ€œCustomsโ€), and Participating Government Agency (โ€œPGAโ€) requirements including the clearance process, classification, and valuation. This position requires meticulous attention to detail with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-pressure freight forwarding operations environment, while positively contributing to the success of the team.

This role primarily requires the individual to review and validate data extracted from a variety of documents (including but not limited to a commercial invoice and/or packing list) and cross referencing its transference into our Transportation Management System (โ€œTMSโ€). This individual should be able to communicate articulately any valuable feedback and suggestions (either general and/or regarding their experience with any/all utilized tools) that would contribute to the overall improvement and achievement of their departmentโ€™s objectives and goals.
