Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Entry-Level Clerical Assistant to join our Houston office. This position is ideal for someone interested in gaining experience in the legal services field. Prior legal experience is preferred but not required.

This role supports daily office operations and assists with administrative tasks related to court reporting. Production & Litigation Support experience a Plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally
  • Greet clients and visitors
  • Schedule depositions and meetings
  • Prepare and process legal documents and transcripts
  • Data entry and database management
  • File and maintain digital and physical records
  • Assist with coordinating videoconferencing and litigation support services
  • Provide general administrative support to office staff and management

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Prior clerical or office experience preferred
  • Legal office experience a plus
  • RB experience a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills
