Job description

Trustpoint has several openings with a respected plaintiffs' litigation law firm in its search for Legal Assistants and Clerical Professionals for a short-term, fully remote project. This is a high-volume, detail-driven assignment ideal for candidates with strong Excel skills and the ability to work efficiently under tight timelines.

This role is perfect for recent college grads with math or finance degrees!

Responsibilities:

  • Extract and review data from retainer agreements
  • Compare agreement data against lien notices for accuracy and consistency
  • Prepare accounting sheets to calculate award statements
  • Perform data entry, validation, and reconciliation tasks
  • Utilize Excel to apply formulas and analyze financial data
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness across all assigned work

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a legal assistant, clerical, or administrative role
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis
  • Experience using functions such as SUM, IF, and VLOOKUP
  • Ability to work with percentages, aggregations, and basic financial calculations
