About the job

The Eyewear Sales Representative solicits and procures orders of Confidential Company product lines within the assigned geographical area; Grow the market demand for the Confidential Company portfolio of products in a collection of customer accounts within a geographical area: San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively act as a business consultant on product knowledge, technology, pricing, and many other areas, thereby acting as a strategic partner with Confidential Company customers.
  • Create close relationships with customers to execute corporate plans, negotiate strategies, and meet business objectives.
  • Deliver on volume and net sales objectives for all Confidential Company portfolio of products.
  • Deliver growth through implementing the sustainable Confidential Company Sales Model with strategic customers.
  • Partner closely with the local synergy team of other Territory Managers to coordinate business and customer relationships as a whole.
  • Develop and adhere to an effective call cycle to achieve desired service frequency to Confidential Company customer accounts to meet indicated net sales objectives at least twice a quarter.
  • Manage all company resources for the territory to ensure that they are deployed in the most efficient and effective manner possible to achieve and exceed volume and net sales objectives Develop an understanding of and, where appropriate, act on market intelligence that may impact, the sale of the Confidential Company portfolio of products.
  • Monitor and measure achievement against territory objectives and implement appropriate strategies to maximize performance.
  • Motivate, support, coach, train and develop customers to maximize the sale of the Confidential Company portfolio of products.
  • Build a strong working relationship with Confidential Company customers at all levels within the practices and businesses they manage (doctor, optician, store manager, etc.);
  • Drive assortment plans with customers.
  • Ensure brand visual merchandising standards are met; refresh and leverage POP materials;
  • Utilize all brand materials to conduct regular customer staff trainings to reinforce knowledge and ensure message to the patient/consumer is translated consistently to brand positioning standards.
  • Cultivate the existing customer base, while partnering with the local sales representative team to prospect for new potential customers in the market.
  • Monitor customers’ payment cycles and credit history.
  • Participate in collection efforts as directed by the Company
