Construction Sales Representative — Drywall & Framing Contractors


Los Angeles, California


We are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Sales Representative with a minimum of 15 years of experience in drywall and metal framing sales within the commercial construction industry. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can bring innovative sales strategies, develop new business opportunities, and help expand our presence throughout the Los Angeles and Southern California market.

This individual must have strong communication skills, the ability to build lasting relationships with contractors and developers, and experience generating and managing leads independently in addition to company-provided opportunities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors, developers, builders, and construction professionals
  • Generate new sales opportunities through networking, cold outreach, referrals, and industry contacts
  • Implement new sales tactics and business development strategies to help grow the company
  • Manage both company-provided leads and self-generated leads
  • Prepare and send professional emails, proposals, presentations, and follow-ups
  • Review construction plans, specifications, and bid opportunities
  • Coordinate with estimating and project management teams to prepare accurate proposals
  • Attend job walks, client meetings, networking events, and preconstruction meetings
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and scope of work
  • Track ongoing projects, bid activity, and customer relationships
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and consistently meet revenue goals
  • Represent the company professionally in all client interactions


Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in construction sales, specifically drywall and metal framing

  • Existing relationships within the Southern California construction market preferred
  • Proven ability to generate new business and close deals
