The work is roughly what you'd expect: bring in revenue, grow the client and referral relationships that keep it coming, run a clean pipeline, and hit your monthly number.

  • Develop Referral Network - Cultivate a steady flow of project work from Architects, GCs, Owners' Reps, Interior Designers, and other adjacent trades.
  • Client Relationships - Land clients, keep them happy, and turn them into a source for more referrals.
  • Close Deals - Revenue is the metric. If an activity doesn't move money, it's not yours to worry about - we have Engineers, Project Managers, Installers, Programmers, and Service Techs for everything that happens after the sale.

  • Networking - Attend 6-8 networking, industry, and social events, including participation in the local BNI chapter.

Starting w/ Base
  • Base = $60k
  • Project Commission = 1% of Pre-Tax Gross Sales
  • Typical annual bonus (3yr actual average) = $10k/yr
  • Year 1: You are expected to generate at least $1.0M/yr ($80k+ In Comp)
  • Year 2: You are expected to generate at least $1.5M/yr ($85k+ In Comp)
  • If you generate $1.2M or more it makes sense to move to full commission (below)
When Fully Ramped to Full Commission
  • Base = $0
  • Project Commission = 6% of Pre-Tax Gross Sales
  • Typical annual bonus (3yr actual average) = $10k/yr
  • Year 2: You are expected to generate at least $1.5M/yr ($100k+ In Comp)
  • Year 3: You are expected to generate at least $2.0M/yr ($130k+ In Comp)
