Job description

About the Financial Controller positionWe are looking for a skilled Financial Controller who will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget, and forecasts preparation. Besides, you will review and develop our internal control policies and procedures as well as perform financial risk management. This role requires working on-site in the office. Dental experience is required. Financial Controller responsibilities are:
  • Review and organize the entire stack of the company's accounting operations: Billing, A/R, A/P, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition, GL, and Counsel

  • Review existing technical accounting issues and develop measures to optimize them

  • Create and document business processes and accounting policies to optimize internal controls

  • Manage the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and prepare reports on the results

  • Oversee the company's month-end and year-end close processes

  • Perform quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

  • Oversee the preparation of regulatory reporting

  • Create timely monthly financial statements and present them to the company's executives and top managers

  • Ensure compliance with state reporting requirements, applicable laws, and tax filings

Financial Controller requirements are:
  • 3+ years of experience working in a Financial Controller position

  • Have a Dental Background preferred

  • Profound experience with accounting procedures and principles

  • Significant experience with general ledger functions, the month-end/year-end close process, and financial statements management

  • Good knowledge of accounting software and MS Office

  • Strong mathematical and administrative skills

  • Professional certification, such as CPA or CMA

  • BSc degree in Accounting or Finance
