Company Description

Our award winning entertainment production client is looking for a Junior Controller to join their tight-knit, entrepreneurial team. This role is a newly created position that will oversee 3-4 different sets of books. The Controller will have a great deal of freedom to create and design his/her own systems and processes. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of a department in a small company environment. 

Job Description

Establish new accounting and internal control processes

Prepare financial statements

Liaise with CPA for tax filings

Liaise with outside vendors

Provide needed reporting to the outsourced CFO


Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

4+ years of accounting experience

Production accounting background preferred

Exposure to cost accounting

Proficiency in Quickbooks
