Job description

Controller Opportunity- High-Impact Manufacturing Leadership Role

This is fully On-Site

Compensation: $180,000 - $200,000 Base Salary + Bonus (Depending on Experience)

I'm currently conducting a confidential search for a Controller to join a well-established manufacturing organization. This individual will serve as a key member of the leadership team and play a critical role in driving financial performance, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting leader who enjoys partnering with operations, owning the accounting function, and influencing business outcomes across a growing manufacturing environment.


Responsibilities:

Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes

Own general ledger, financial reporting, and balance sheet integrity

Manage inventory accounting, cost accounting, and manufacturing financial analysis

Drive budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives

Partner with operations leadership on profitability, pricing, and cost reduction programs

Maintain and strengthen internal controls and compliance processes

Support audits, tax requirements, and corporate reporting initiatives

Develop and mentor accounting and finance staff

Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and overall financial performance


Ideal Background:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience

Prior Controller or senior accounting leadership experience

Manufacturing industry experience a MUST

Strong inventory and cost accounting expertise

Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and operational finance

ERP system experience in a manufacturing environment

Proven ability to work cross-functionally with operations and executive leadership
