This position will complete various duties for the Accounting Department. The Jr Accountant supports the CFO in various accounting functions including, but not limited to the following responsibilities:
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following responsibilities would characterize the requirements of this position. Must possess the skills necessary to perform the majority of the listed functions:
1. General Ledger and Month End Closing
2. Financial Reporting and Financial Analysis
3. Inventory Management
4. Handle Bank Reconciliation and Manage Fixed Assets
5. Prepare Sales and Use Tax, Prepare Property Tax
6. Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
7. Assist CFO/ Controller with cost schedules, Account Reconciliation, etc.
8. Internal Audit and Coordinate with External Auditors on various auditing needs
REQUIREMENTS:
Competencies
1. Bilingual in Mandarin is preferred
2. Bachelors Degree in Accounting with 2+ years accounting/bookkeeping experience
3. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and Outlook)
4. Advanced working knowledge of accounting software and ERP Systems
5. Good written and verbal communication skills
6. Good organizational skills with great attention to detail
7. Strong problem-solving skills
8. Ability to work independently with little supervision
9. Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
