MANTECH seeks motivated, career and customer-oriented Facility Planners to join our team in Dallas Texas and Oahu Hawaii.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Coordinates the preparation of comprehensive plans and programs for the use of land and physical facilities.
  • Manage the development of detailed Planning Reports and oversee site investigations.
  • Formulate planning standards and quality gate oversight for infrastructure projects.
  • Prepares and reviews facility requirement documents and project justification folders for theaterwide infrastructure improvements.
  • Maintain the Theater Master Plan through regular updates and mission-specific data integration.
  • Evaluate site feasibility for temporary and permanent structures in support of expeditionary operations.
  • Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.

NOTE: Multiple levels of seniority are available based on qualifications and experience. Please see below.
Minimum Qualifications:
Senior Level
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field and 10+ years of position-relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).
  • Experience in formal document review and acting as a Responsible Officer (RO).

Midlevel
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field and 3+ years of position-relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).
  • Ability to draft technical planning documentation and follow established SOPs.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional certification such as AICP or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP).
  • Experience in PACOM AOR facilities planning.
  • Knowledge of Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) and FSRM programming.

Clearance Required:
  • Must hold an active Secret clearance

Physical Requirements:
  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.

There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
