DentalEZ is looking for a CAD Designer to join them at their facility in Chicago, IL. This doctor and patient-friendly equipment creates an ergonomically sound, hygienic and organized work environment. Our NevinLabs brand has been designing, building and installing modular steel cabinets and workstations for dental laboratories for over 85 years. Among our customers are both commercial and dental offices laboratories, vocational schools, universities, Veterans Administration, Military hospitals and clinics.About the Job: You will be responsible for initiating and completing the design, layout, and utility drawings for casework in the dental laboratory environment. Every aspect of the designing and building process is done in-house so you'll see all your projects to fruition. You will enjoy supporting a variety of clients and working with all departments throughout the company. Responsibilities:Acquire specifications from customers and sales department.Plan and design floor plans for cabinetry within dental laboratories and private offices.Modify/maintain existing drawing files and documentation as necessary.Design and develop detailed and accurate 3-D drawings, quotes and other necessary documentation per customer and sales department request.Support Sales department directly.Coordinate with customers, dealers, architects, contractors from initial concept through installation.Complete work in accordance with timelines established by the planning department.Provide customer service, technical advice, quotes, and documentation.Compose and perform final edit of Instruction and Operating Manuals for customer reference.Communicate with salesmen and customers as needed to support the product purchase.Initiate installation quotes.Prompt regular attendance.About You: Make real change and feel valued daily in this role that offers great pay, advancement opportunities, and the chance to see your hard work from start to finish!
