Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA) is searching for an Executive Program Manager - Strategic Technology Initiatives for a Contractor assignment with one of our premier financial services clients in lower Manhattan, NYC. Hybrid role requiring 4 days per week onsite .
The Executive Program Manager will support a portfolio of high-profile technology and business transformation initiatives, including U.S. expansion efforts, infrastructure programs, office growth initiatives, and other strategic enterprise priorities. This role will serve as a key partner to senior technology leadership, driving program execution, governance, stakeholder management, executive communications, and cross-functional coordination across multiple concurrent initiatives.
The successful candidate will combine strong program leadership with exceptional executive presence, ensuring strategic initiatives remain aligned, risks are proactively managed, stakeholders remain engaged, and leadership has clear visibility into progress, priorities, and decision points.
Responsibilities:
Program Execution & Portfolio Management
  • Support and coordinate a portfolio of strategic technology and infrastructure initiatives.
  • Drive program execution across multiple concurrent initiatives, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and commitments are achieved.
  • Drive cross-program coordination and ensure alignment across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
  • Assist leadership with strategic planning, roadmap development, and portfolio prioritization activities.
Executive Communications & Reporting
  • Develop executive-level presentations, steering committee materials, dashboards, and status reports for senior leadership.
  • Consolidate updates from various program teams and present concise executive summaries highlighting accomplishments, risks, issues, and decisions required.
  • Support senior leadership with ad hoc analysis, presentations, and strategic reporting requests.
IT Program Governance, Risk & Oversight
  • Establish and maintain program governance frameworks, including reporting cadence, RAID management, action tracking, and decision logs.
  • Facilitate executive meetings, steering committees, and governance forums, ensuring key decisions, risks, and dependencies are documented and tracked.
  • Monitor program health, milestones, budgets, and resource plans, escalating issues and recommendations as appropriate.
Stakeholder Management & Leadership
  • Partner closely with Technology leadership, Finance, Real Estate, Facilities, Security, Infrastructure, Operations, and Business stakeholders.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement, consensus building, and decision-making across complex initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent communication and alignment among senior leaders, program teams, and business partners.
Skill Requirements:
Program Management & Execution
  • 10+ years of Program Management experience within large, complex enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
  • Proven ability to drive execution, accountability, and delivery across complex initiatives.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Executive Communications & Governance
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills, including development of Steering Committee and C-level presentations.
  • Experience preparing materials for executive committees, Board-level discussions, and senior governance forums.
  • Expertise in program governance, RAID management, dependency tracking, and executive reporting.
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into concise executive-level communications.
Stakeholder & Technology Leadership Management
  • Experience supporting senior Technology executives or enterprise PMOs.
  • Demonstrated success managing senior stakeholder relationships across Technology, Operations, Finance, and Business organizations.
  • Experience coordinating technology, infrastructure, operations, and business teams within complex environments.
Financial & Portfolio Management
  • Strong financial tracking, budgeting, forecasting, and portfolio reporting experience.
Tools & Reporting
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.
Industry Experience
  • Experience within large financial services organizations or global banks.
  • Experience working within CIO, Infrastructure, Enterprise Technology, or large-scale technology organizations.
Preferred Skills
  • Prior experience supporting technology expansion initiatives, office growth programs and infrastructure transformations.
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification.
