Job description

As an Executive Protection Specialist reporting to the Director of Executive Protection, you'll play a critical role in safeguarding Nasdaq's senior leadership team through world-class protective operations, strategic advance planning, and rapid incident response.
You'll thrive in this position if you bring exceptional discretion, high emotional intelligence, and a deep commitment to safety - combined with the tactical expertise to operate seamlessly across domestic and international environments. This is a high-trust, high-visibility role that demands both operational excellence and executive-level professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide secure transportation for senior executives throughout the New York tri-state area, including route planning, traffic monitoring, and contingency planning to ensure safe and timely arrivals.
  • Lead complex advance operations, risk assessments, and site analysis prior to executive travel, both domestically and internationally.
  • Liaise with law enforcement agencies, government officials, venue security teams, and event planners to coordinate seamless protective operations.
  • Deliver emergency medical care as needed and maintain current AED/CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Maintain all required licensing, including concealed carry authorization, and uphold firearms proficiency through regular qualification training.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated experience providing executive protection to government officials or C-Suite executives, in both domestic and international settings.
  • Valid and active driver's license and U.S. passport.
  • Current HR218 certification with the ability to obtain firearm carry licensing across relevant jurisdictions.
  • Exceptional integrity, professionalism, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to pass pre-employment background investigation and random drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in tactical law enforcement or military protective operations.
  • Proven ability to manage high-pressure, time-sensitive situations with composure and sound judgment.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a proactive self-starter with strong independent judgement, while collaborating effectively as needed.

The base pay range for this role is $98,000 - $181,000.
