Job description

The Lede Company is looking for a sharp, detail-obsessed and proactive Account Executive to join our growing Events PR team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments and has a passion for executing PR strategy for both large-scale and intimate events. You'll play a key role in managing red carpets, generating targeted media outreach for editorial placements (both long and short lead) and event invitations, working with high-profile celebrities and cultural leaders, and delivering seamless guest experiences from invite to arrival.

In-office requirement: minimum of 3 days per week

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Support media strategy and red carpet management for large- and small-scale events including galas, premieres, panels, and private dinners. Work with the team to develop overall press strategy, media relations, onsite press management and post-event communications. 

      • Support in executing high-impact events featuring celebrities, influencers, and culturally relevant personalities.

      • Consistently pitch and secure media coverage for clients.

      • Write, proof and edit a variety of PR materials, including press releases, media alerts, talking points, additional materials as needed.

      • Provide on-site coordination for red carpets and events including talent handling, press credentialing, photo management, distributing press releases and more.

      • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to manage guest lists, curate targeted invitee selections, and track RSVPs for various industry events, ensuring seamless execution and guest experience.

      • Develop and maintain relationships with media, internal and external PR teams, and industry partners to facilitate smooth event operations.

      • Draft invite copy and send event invitations, manage follow-ups, and ensure guest communications are polished and on-brand.

      • Maintain and update databases, RSVP platforms, and master tracking documents with accuracy.

      • Contribute to monthly, project and/or event reporting and recaps across all clients.

      • Help oversee assistants including reviewing client agendas, recap reports and clips.

QUALIFICATIONS:

      • 3-4 years of experience
      • Bachelor's degree in public relations, marketing, event management, communications, or a related field.

      • Strong knowledge of culture and the media landscape

      • Demonstrated success in securing impactful media placements

      • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities.

      • Ability to manage time-sensitive projects, juggle multiple priorities, work independently, and keen attention to detail.

      • Manage multiple projects and timelines with efficiency and clear communication.

      • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, media, and team members.

      • Innovative problem-solver with a proven history of delivering successful outcomes and the ability to think on your feet.
