The Role

The Account Executive (you?!) is a results-oriented, hyper-detailed team player in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area, who has proven relationships within enterprise accounts. You must drive revenue growth through proactive client relationship management and new business development. This involves expanding existing customer accounts, developing new business opportunities, and implementing strategic sales initiatives to achieve assigned revenue quotas. The Account Executive works closely with clients, partners, and internal teams to deliver innovative technology solutions across all service lines. This position requires strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and deep technical knowledge to effectively present solutions and build lasting business relationships.

A Day in the Life

  • Proactively communicate with clients, partners, and team members while expanding and maintaining customer accounts to ensure satisfaction
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve assigned revenue quotas through effective business development and prospecting activities
  • Present innovative concepts, solutions, and products while maintaining deep understanding of AEBS' core competencies across all service lines
  • Demonstrate superior facilitation and leadership capabilities during sales engagements and develop compelling proposals and business cases
  • Attend industry networking functions, tradeshows, and events while participating in vendor certifications and training sessions
  • Support marketing initiatives and stay current on vendor products, programs, promotions, and pricing strategies
  • Represent AEBS offerings professionally to all stakeholders including prospects, customers, internal staff, manufacturers, and distributors
  • Manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills while addressing requests with high urgency and maintaining enthusiasm for the IT industry

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or related field preferred
  • Three or more years of B2B sales experience, preferably in technology or IT services, with proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Must have strong local contact relationships, a professional presence, a high level of integrity, and a history of representing the client’s best interests throughout the sales cycle
  • Strong understanding of technology solutions including security, infrastructure, and cloud and dev ops
  • Experience with CRM systems, sales pipeline management, and developing compelling proposals and business cases
  • Professional presence suitable for representing the company at industry events with willingness to travel for client meetings and vendor training
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
  • High sense of urgency, customer-focused mindset, and enthusiasm for technology with commitment to continuous learning
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with ability to engage all stakeholders
